6 Animals Seized, Home Condemned After Neglected Pets Found In NY
A New York woman is accused of neglecting six animals after authorities responding to a welfare check found conditions that led to pets being removed and a home condemned, the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office announced on Monday, June 1.
Tabetha M. Jones, 21, of Milton, was arrested on Saturday and charged with six counts of overdriving, torturing and injuring animals; failure to provide sustenance, according to the sheriff's office.
The investigation began after deputies responded to a welfare check at a Lewis Road residence in Milton at 6:28 p.m. on Friday, May 23, authorities said.
